E-VOLUTION is proud to play a key role in advancing sustainable transportation in Belize through its participation in the Belize City electric taxi pilot program. As part of this initiative, four Geely electric SUVs were supplied to the Belize City Council to support an e-Taxi model for existing and prospective taxi operators.
The pilot project aimed to demonstrate how electric vehicles can reduce fuel costs, lower emissions, and improve long-term operating efficiency for taxi drivers. With zero fuel consumption and reduced maintenance requirements, EVs present a practical and economical alternative to traditional vehicles within the public transport sector.
Building on this success, E-VOLUTION is now launching its own ‘Rent-to-own’ e-Taxi project, offering taxi drivers an EV with lower operating costs, cleaner and quieter rides and competitive fares. Positioning E-VOLUTION as the leader in eco-friendly mobility while creating new income opportunities for taxi operators.
E-VOLUTION does not only provide e-Taxis, but also charging solutions, warranties, and after-sales support to ensure the success of the program. This project represents an important step toward cleaner urban transportation and reinforces E-VOLUTION’s commitment to supporting private and government-led sustainability initiatives across the country.
